Word on the Lake
... a festival for readers and writers
Introduction
‘Word on the Lake’ runs from Friday evening, May 24th through to Sunday, May 26th 2013. It is a Festival designed for both readers and writers. Sessions will include both skill development workshops and open forums with authors based on questions and answers in an intimate setting.
BURSARIES AVAILABLE AGAIN: for guidelines and to apply click here
TABLE RENTALS are available for those authors, from outside our local area, wishing to sell books etc, Cost $35. Please contact us by email info@saow.ca no later than May 13th, 2013.
A LOCAL AUTHORS’ TABLE. You are welcome to sell your books at the festival. SAW will provide a ‘local authors’ table free of charge. Please bring your books and share the space; meet your fellow local writers and meet the presenters. Please contact us at info@saow.ca on the website to let us know if you wish to sell your books.

This is a fund raising Event for our local Food Bank ‘Second Harvest’. Your festival name tag is your admission ticket, but please, feel free to make a donation. The public will be asked for a minimum donation of $15:00.
